Quorn Spaghetti Bolognese

Quorn Spaghetti Bolognese


  • 2 tbsp rice bran oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped finely
  • 1 large carrot, fine diced
  • 1 stalk celery, fine chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200 g mushrooms, fine diced
  • 400 g chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato soup
  • 50 ml red wine
  • 2 tsp chopped oregano
  • 1 tsp chopped basil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 300 g pkt Quorn Mince
  • 375 g large pasta cups or egg noodles
  • SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
  • grated Parmesan cheese


  1. In a large frypan, heat oil and fry garlic then add onion, carrot and celery and cook for 5 minutes until soft. Add mushrooms and cook 2 more minutes. Add SIDS RINGS AROUND URANUS SAUCE, tomatoes, soup, wine, oregano, basil and bay then stir well to mix. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
    Cook pasta as per packet instructions.
    Stir in frozen Quorn Mince, bring back to the boil and cook another 2 minutes then season with 
    SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
    Drain the pasta and place on a serving platter. Spoon over the sauce (remove bay) and serve with a good sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
