Mussels with Chilli, Lemon & Garlic Butter

Ingredients

  • 30 mussels
  • 70 g butter
  • fine grated zest of 1 lemon
  • ¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 4 lemons, halved
  • 3 tbsp rice bran oil
  • SIDS SALT & PEPPER

Directions

  1. Scrub mussels and remove beards.
    Melt butter in a small saucepan with lemon zest, 
    SIDS CRAZY LEMON, garlic and chilli flakes then remove from heat and reserve.
    Heat BBQ grill and brush the cut surfaces of the lemon with oil. Put mussels on grill and cook 4-5 minutes until they open. In the last 2 minutes, add lemon slices, cut side down.
    Serve mussels drizzled in spiced butter, sprinkled with parsley, 
    SIDS SALT & PEPPER and lemon halves to squeeze.
