Brine for Turkey

Ingredients

  • 8 litres cold water
  • 3 tbsp SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
  • 300 cc Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • ½ cup salt
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 tbsp dried sage
  • 2 tbsp dried celery seed
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme

Directions

  1. The night before roasting, remove giblets and turkey neck then rinse turkey inside and out. In a large stock pot, mix water and SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE with remaining ingredients. Stir well until all the salt is dissolved. Place turkey in the pot cover with a lid and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours. Remove turkey from the brine, rinsing well. Follow your regular cooking instructions.
