Dumplings Cantonese Style

Ingredients

  • 100 g pork mince
  • 1 cup watercress, chopped
  • 100 g water chesnuts, drained
  • ¼ cup spring onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1½ tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
  • ½ tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
  • 500 g round dumpling skins
  • 500 g shrimp, peeled & deveined

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pork, watercress, water chestnuts, spring onion, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, soy sauce, SIDS SALT & PEPPER and SIDS CRAZY LEMON then mix together.
    Place ½ tsp of this filling and 1 shrimp into each dumpling skin, wet the edge and fold over. Pinch the edge with your fingers to seal.
    Deep fry the dumplings or pan fry for 15 minutes, turning often. Alternately, cook them in chicken broth for 15 minutes then serve dumplings with the broth.
